The leadership of (GNAT), the ( NAGRAT), (CCT) and(TEWU) have asked their members to withdraw their services beginning today, Monday July 4. This decision was announced by General Secretary of GNAT, Thomas Musah Tanko in Accra on Monday. The teachers earlier gave the government by end of June this year to grant the 20 per cent Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) or risk the anger of over 240,000 teachers nationwide.

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has said it has monitored a fraudulent Facebook account created in the name of GAF with the name Asinyo Inno, advertising sale of protocol recruitment forms for interested applicants. The account bearing the name Mathias Sarpong with a contact number +233595577684, GAF said, is one of such numerous fraudulent social media accounts being used for recruitment scams.
